Home remedies are generally cheaper, milder, cleaner, and have fewer side effects than medical treatments. For most common symptoms, you need not to go to a Doctor. Home remedies are given for most common diseases. You can try these remedies for a few days and see the results. If the symptoms do not go away, or you do not see any improvement, then you must consult your doctor.
Remedies for some of the symptoms are given below:
- Acne: Grind some neem leaves with water to a fine paste and apply on the face once or twice a day. Crush garlic cloves and apply on the face, once or twice a day. Grind some orange peel with water to a paste and apply on the face, once or twice a day.
- Skin Allergies : Apply a paste of sandalwood in 1 teaspoon lime juice.
Apply a paste of 1 tablespoon poppy seeds with 1 tsp water and 1 tsp fresh lime juice.
- Arthritis : Apply hot water bottle. This will promote better circulation to injured areas. It will loose muscles that have become stiff because of overuse.
Mix 2 parts flour with 1 part mustard powder, add warm water to make a
thick paste. Spread it on a clean cloth, and press against the skin.
- Blocked Nose: Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to hot water and take deep breath.
- Body Weight Reduction: By eating a tomato everyday before breakfast for a few months will help you slim.
- Teeth and Gums- Bleeding: Apply a powdered mixture of 500g of green guava peel, 10g each of alum, 10g of black pepper and 10g of black salt on your teeth twice a day for a week. Apply paste of dry ginger with a little salt to gums.
- Toothache: Chew cloves or rub clove oil on the tooth.
Add some lime juice to asafetida powder. Soak a piece of cotton and hold it on the tooth and gum.
